_Kitty Steals the Show_, Carrie Vaughn (kindle)

I think this is book 10 in the Kitty the Werewolf (har de har har) series, which has ably survived Vaughn switching publishers partway through; all the books continue to be available in paperback (new and used) and ebook forms.

In this outing, there's a paranormal/supernatural conference in London and Kitty is the Keynote speaker. The guys at the station get her and Ben a first class upgrade and Tyler joins them in London. They are staying with the Master (vampire) of London, Ned, and his protege, Alette's descendant and newly-made vampire. The main storyline is European vampire culture and its relationship to weres, and Kitty's efforts to directly address the problem of Roman/Dux Bellorum and The Long Game.

I wouldn't start with this book, but the series continues to entertain and offer up paranormal analogues for real-world hot buttons. I'll keep reading. I like how Cormac/Amelia really get an opportunity to develop as people -- not just characters -- in this episode.
