aussie national archives

I am now eagerly awaiting an e-mail from the National Archives of Australia. I sent them $15 AUD (a little less than the natives pay, because I'm not using it inside Australia so I am not paying a tax of some sort) via credit card for the privilege of viewing my great-uncle Elmer's aliens registration record. Within 30 days.

I don't think it's going to actually tell me much, but hopefully I'll get some clue as to his route from the Midwest to Belfast, Ireland in the middle of The Great War.
