NYT and Zoning Coverage continues with Trump Golf Resort v. Wind Development

I believe the NYT may have put some meaningful research into identifying the very least flattering but still relevant photo of Trump to include in this article, so really you should burn one of your free articles at NYT this month to click through and read this article. (I mean, sure, you might subscribe like me, too, in which case it's more about your time than anything else and you're still reading so we've already established how valuable your time is.)

Highlights include:

"George A. Sorial, the executive vice president and counsel for The Trump Organization, Mr. Trump’s development company in New York, denounced the ruling ... “History will judge those involved unfavorably, and the outcome demonstrates the foolish, small-minded and parochial mentality which dominates the current Scottish government’s dangerous experiment with wind energy.”"

I feel like this is a great item to collect on the intersection of the hazards of renewable energy as described by old people in the context of zoning disputes in 2015. Goes right along with that Woodland, NC story. Which I'm sure probably misrepresents at least somebody, but remains absolutely hysterically funny regardless.

The ongoing Cape Wind saga is much, much less humorous, so there may come a day where I sigh and wish I hadn't laughed about the thing in Aberdeen, because someone may yet kill this project.

Quarter point, and quarter points every quarter to come in the New Year

Yeah, I know. You don't know what I'm talking about, or you knew already, or you know what I'm talking about but you don't give a shit. At least I kept this short, amirite?

Happy Holidays! My personal theory is that this should make banks a little more willing to loan to consumers, which should goose the economy. I hope, anyway.
