Happy That Other Day When Everything Is Closed

T. actually decided not to fight it, and instead opted to have leftovers from last night's dinner for lunch. Having determined that Applebee's is open, we will probably still get our Sunday Applebee's outing, only for dinner instead of lunch.

T. didn't really want me leaving him for a long walk while A. and papa played Portal upstairs, so instead we went for a bike ride. It's only about 50 degrees out, give or take, so it was chilly but nice in the sun. We weren't going fast enough for it to be punishingly cold and there was no wind to speak of. We biked what I generally walk, a three mile loop. Lots of people out walking today.

Other than that, I've been busy updating my woefully out of date calendar to better reflect upcoming activities (there have been changes in things like swimming, and there's an upcoming trip and similar). I also went through my secondary email address when I realized the calendar was picking up events from the calendar that someone had sent to the wrong (my) email address.

I also have to keep deleting things that the kids are adding to my new todo and shopping lists on the alexa app. It's really cool that I can tell alexa to add stuff, but every time I do, they add more things. Like, my to do list currently has "fart" on it. Maybe I'll leave that one there until someone actually does that particular "task". But I'm gonna take it off the shopping list, because you have to draw a line somewhere.
